DIY DXPs vs REAL DXPs
What is the difference between Do-It-Yourself DXPs and real DXPs? And how do you spot a real DXP?
We see many integrators trying to influence customers into thinking they are buying a product when, in reality, they sell boilerplates to kick-start CMS projects.
What are the things to really pay attention to?
- Check the product's critical capabilities: does it tick the boxes for a DXP, or is it just a CMS? Does it have data capabilities, automation capabilities, or AI, to name a few?
- Check the team and the company behind the product: do they know what they are talking about? Can they also successfully implement the DXP?
- Check the product hands-on: a demo should quickly reveal how it can work for your organization.
I hope this helps you navigate the CMS / DXP market.
